The treatment is done in-office and does not require local or topical anesthesia or analgesics. Caress Flow uses oxygen and hyaluronic acid to stimulate the body’s natural collagen formation process, which revitalizes and tightens tissue just inside the vaginal opening. The external portion of the treatment helps increase sensitivity along the labia and clitoris. Because the surface of the vaginal and vulvar walls are not injured, patients return to normal activities immediately.
We recommend a total of five treatments with each treatment scheduled every two weeks. From there, Dr. Fiore will decide if any additional follow-up is needed. This is not a covered service by your insurance company. Each treatment is $250.00.
No. Caress Flow is a non-invasive 5 session treatment, that does not require any numbing anesthesia or analgesics. The very small disposable vaginal probe used during the procedure is smaller than a tampon. There are no issues or concerns related to heat or discomfort sometimes reported with the use of vaginal lasers.
Every patient is different. Some patients notice a difference immediately, however it may take up to 3 months to feel complete results. New collagen takes about 3 months to develop and may continue to improve after that time.
Results will vary from patient to patient based on individual needs and the body’s unique ability to produce collagen, but over 80% of patients are still feeling results at 12 months. From there you can decide, with the Dr. Fiore, whether or not you are ready for a maintenance treatment or —if you’re still experiencing great results—you can wait.
The surface of the vaginal wall is not disrupted, so you can return to normal activities immediately following the treatment. You can return to sexual activities the same day.
